WCP is JPL’s internal content management system, enabling employees to create websites that align with established web branding standards. These sites are accessible only through the JPL VPN. Built on the same open-source Django framework as JPL’s external site, Wagtail, WCP provides a familiar and reliable platform.

WCP sites use customized blocks from the Explorer 1 Design System, adapted to convey an internal-only look and feel, clearly distinguishing them from public-facing sites and signaling that content may be sensitive. Additional blocks were developed from scratch based on extensive user research to address specific internal needs. Templates were also developed to assist customers in efficiently developing elegant and effective sites on their own.
